OUR STORY
Initially founded in 2014, Pine & Bars Co started as a project aiming to empower brands through the potential of social media. In 2016, the company ventured into Snapchat, leveraging its filter integration technology and quickly becoming a pioneer. The division's success led to a strategic sale within a year.
PBCo continued assisting clients until 2020, when co-founders Michael Browning and Gavin McFarland launched a second agency specializing in athlete branding. In its first year, the agency quickly helped build brands and unique partnership opportunities for over 52 professional athletes, tapping into a roster totaling 250 athletes available for sponsorship opportunities by the end of year two. With the success of athlete partnerships, the company split, aiming to support a global effort to establish the legal and regulatory framework to monetize biometric data for athletes backed by blockchain.
Today, driven by a passion for branding and marketing strategy, Michael and Gavin returned to Pine & Bars Co., resurrecting the brand as a go-to partner for professional athletes, entrepreneurs, and established businesses on a mission to build something great. With a rich history, proven track record, and a commitment to industry trends, Pine & Bars Co. is once again at the forefront of digital marketing, strategy, and design.
